As the year 2012 is now done and dusted, it’s now time to plan your itinerary for an immeasurable amount of activities and events that are set to grace the shores of Ireland this year. Regardless of when you choose to tour our county, you will find it to be as memorable as ever, with the Ardboyne Hotel offering exceptional accommodation and Meath bustling with many activities to take part in.

With the establishment of The Gathering, the whole country of Ireland will experience more than 1700 events throughout the year. This newly established initiative is dedicated to promoting Irish culture by endorsing both traditional and new events. Visitors to the county of Meath will experience a variety of events, from musical festivals and marathons to archaeological conferences and even quirky events.

For those visiting Navan, Meath in January and February, the Mystic Moses gallery exhibition by John G. Ryan is not to be missed. The exhibition will open its doors to the public on the 20th of January and end on the 3rd of February. This isn’t the only activity that will be hosted in Meath. The Gathering is said to have endorsed about 53 gatherings in the county that will take place throughout the year already.
