Last Wednesday the 22nd of August the finalists were announced for the Hotel and Catering review Gold Medal awards. Now in their 30th year the awards are recognised as the leading independent awards programme for the hospitality industry. Possibly one of the most famous hotels in County Meath, the Ardboyne Hotel has been the heart of the community for many years. It’s not surprising that they have made the final for Best Three Star Hotel in Ireland with their fantastic customer service, comfortable accommodation and amazing food and beverage offerings.

Robbie Rennicks, who has been with the Ardboyne Hotel for the past 14 years was thrilled with the news. “We pride ourselves here in the hotel in offering the very best service that we can. We are constantly striving to meet and exceed our customers expectations whether it be in the Bar, Hugo’s Carvery or our accommodation. So its great when you hear that you have made the final for such a prestigious award”.

The Ardboyne Hotel will have some healthy competition on the night of the awards ceremony with the likes of the Celtic Ross Hotel in Cork, The Kenmare Bay Hotel in Kerry and their very own sister hotel- The Newgrange, also making the final. Another sister Hotel- The Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim are also in the final for Best Four Star resort.

As well as being a finalist for the Best Three star hotel, you also have a chance to vote for the Ardboyne Hotel in the people’s choice award. This award is sponsored by the Irish Independent and the public will decide on their favourite place to stay in Ulster, Connaught, Leinster and Munster.
